St. Nicholas Eve, Walt Disney's Birthday, Martin Van Buren Birthday

St.Nicholas is the patron saint of Christmas, gift giving and children.  Children either leave their shoes or hang their socks (stockings) this evening hoping in the morning to fine them filled with trinkets and treats. Martin Van Buren was the 8th president of the USA, born 1782.
